HOT BUTTERED APPLE CIDER

 

1 (16 oz) bottle apple cider

1/2 cup pure maple syrup

1/2 cup softened butter

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

 

In slow cooker over low heat, cook apple cider with maple syrup for 20 minutes or until steaming hot.  In a small bowl, combine butter, nutmeg and allspice.  Mix well.  Pour cider into mugs and top with a teaspoon of spice butter.


 

HOLIDAY PUNCH 

1 tall can pineapple juice

1 can frozen orange juice concentrate

6 cups sugar

6 quarts water

6 packages strawberry Kool-Aid

1 large jar green maraschino cherries

Mix all together.  Makes 2 gallons.

 


 

SLUSH

6 cups water

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 can (12 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate

1 can (12 oz) frozen orange juice concentrate

2 cups bourbon or vodka

 Mix al ingredients together and put in freezer.  Serve in wine glasses or in on-the-rocks glasses.

 


SEASON'S GREETINGS PUNCH 

1 cup sugar

2 cups ReaLemon reconstituted lemon juice

1 can (46 oz) red fruit-flavored punch, chilled

1 bottle (28 oz) club soda or ginger ale, chilled

Maraschino cherries and orange slices

In medium bowl, stir sugar into ReaLemon until dissolved.  Place ice cubes in large punch bowl.  Pour in ReaLemon-sugar mixture and punch.  Slowly add club soda or ginger ale; stir.  Garnish with cherries and orange slices.  Makes about 3 quarts.

CAPPUCCINO 

6 oz instant cocoa mix

2 to 4 oz brandy (to your liking)

1 quart hot coffee

Mix cocoa mix and brandy.  Add hot coffee.  Top with whipped cream.

 


FROZEN DAIQUIRI 

1 (6 oz) can frozen limeade                  12 oz 7-Up

1 (6 oz) can frozen lemonade               12 oz water

12 oz rum

Mix together and freeze.

 


ORANGE JUICE JULIUS 

6 oz frozen orange juice concentrate              1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup sugar                                                   1 cup vanilla ice cream

1 cup milk                                                         12 ice cubes

1 cup cold water

Put all ingredients in a blender.  Blend until smooth, then enjoy.  Serves 4.

 


MARGARITAS 

1 (6 oz) can frozen limeade                  3 oz triple sec

6 oz water                                            2-3 drops green food coloring

6 oz tequila

Put all ingredients in blender.  Fill blender with ice.  Blend until smooth.

 


MARVELOUS MARGARITAS 

1 (6 oz) can frozen limeade                  2 oz triple sec

6 oz rum                                              ice to fill blender

6 oz beer

Place limeade in blender.  Add rum, beer and triple sec.  Fill blender with ice.  Mix on high to crush ice.  Serve immediately in frosted glass.

 


BANANA DAIQUIRI 

1 1/2 oz rum                                        1 tablespoon triple sec

1 banana                                              1 1/2 oz lime juice

1 teaspoon sugar                                  1 cup crushed ice

Put all in blender and mix.  

 


 BACARDI COCKTAIL 

1 3/4 oz Bacardi rum                            1 oz lime juice

1/2 teaspoon sugar syrup                      Dash Grenadine

In shaker half filled with ice cubes, combine all ingredients.  Shake well.  Strain into cocktail glass.
